Artist's Statement: Painting what one's perceptions are is the sharing of one's most private thoughts and ideas with the viewer. My love of color, texture, and movement spur me on to set down what I would like to convey to others through my art. The transparency of watercolor is my first love and the wonderful textures one can achieve with collage is my second. There is nothing more wonderful than viewing a piece of art that speaks to your soul and I hope that my art does that for others.
