Artist's Statement: For me, painting is a visual form of writing, which reveals deep feelings about the beauty and humor in life. I find joy and challenge in developing relationships with nature and people. Reflections and patterns of shadow and light, the power of the sea, and the intimacy shared while interpreting a person's essence are truly spiritual experiences. As I explore and express myself, the evolution and uniqueness of these relationships is reflected in my paintings.
I have studied with many local and nationally known artists. My paintings have been accepted into Juried shows, and a favorite, "WILDFLOWER POTPOURRI," was the Richardson WILDFLOWER poster winner in 1999. I am a member of SWS, RCAS, and TVAA.
