All of the slides submitted as entries for the 62nd Annual Membership Exhibition will be shown at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, 400 E. Hickory Street Denton, TX 76201 (Greater Denton Arts Council - Festival Hall) on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12:30 -2:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be be provided. This is a great opportunity to see all the paintings that were submitted before the juror selects the pieces that will be shown in the exhibition. It is also the only SWS event during the summer hiatus.

The exhibition will be on view from 8/25/2025 through 9/27/2025 at 5:00 pm. The Awards Reception will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

SWS monthly member meetings resume with a short business meeting followed by a demonstration from a renowned award winning Guest Artist and the selection of the Painting Of the Month. Members are encouraged to bring a matted or framed original painting to show in the POM competition.

Displayed artworks from the 62nd Annual SWS Membership Exhibition must be retrieved on Sunday, September 28 between 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center - Meadows Gallery 400 E. Hickory Street Denton, TX 76201. If you cannot pick up your own painting, please give written permission to someone else to reclaim your painting.
