All of the slides submitted as entries for the 62nd Annual Membership Exhibition will be shown at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, 400 E. Hickory Street Denton, TX 76201 (Greater Denton Arts Council - Festival Hall) on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12:30 -2:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be be provided. This is a great opportunity to see all the paintings that were submitted before the juror selects the pieces that will be shown in the exhibition. It is also the only SWS event during the summer hiatus.

All hand delivered paintings must be at the Meadows Gallery of the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, 400 E. Hickory Street Denton, TX 76201 between 11:00-3:00 p.m.

Learn techniques for painting florals from photos with award winning watercolor painter, Trish Poupard. The class will start at 9am and commences at 4pm.

Iain Stewart, AWS/NWS will be giving a workshop called "Painting Land, Sea and Sky in Watercolor" Tuesday through Thursday, 9/9 - 9/11/2025 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day. This Three-Day Workshop will be at Marsh Lane Baptist Church, 10716 Marsh Lane, Dallas, TX, 75229.

SWS monthly member meetings resume with a short business meeting followed by a demonstration from a renowned award winning Guest Artist and the selection of the Painting Of the Month. Members are encouraged to bring a matted or framed original painting to show in the POM competition.

Hickory Street Denton, TX 76201. If you cannot pick up your own painting, please give written permission to someone else to reclaim your painting.
